Funding and Support

Funding & Support

South Dublin County Council offers a range of funding and supports to community groups at various times throughout the year. Two of our bigger funding streams include Community Grants and the Community Infrastructure Fund and you can find information on this below.

We also provide other funding streams that we post here and promote on social media at specific parts of the year so make sure to continiously check back to see what's available.

Healthy South Dublin is seeking Expressions of Interest from sports clubs and community organisations in the South Dublin County administrative area for a designated walkway with lights to be developed and supported by the Healthy South Dublin Fund.

Healthy Ireland Round 4 is running from 2023-2025 in which South Dublin have selected two outcome indicators to focus on over the three-year period. The outcomes selected are focused on chronic illness and community safety.

Funding is provided through the Department of Health. The development of a community-based designated walkway with lights would assist in addressing the two outcomes selected through providing a space to allow all community members the opportunity to engage in active healthy lifestyle behaviours in a safe and secure space.

  • There is a maximum level of funding of €25,000 available.
  • This is once off funding.
